La Jungla
At the heart of Costa Rica is a jagged, mounrtinous spine that runs from
the northwest to the southeast corner of the country. The volcanic mountain
ranges (Guanacaste, Tilarian and Central) remain spearate from each other by
relatively low passes and valleys, and they rise successiavely higher toward
the northern two-thirds of the country.
The breathtaking jungles of Costa Rica thrive in flawless year-round tropical
conditions. Costa Rica is divided into seven Provinces or States, each
containing National Parks and Wildlife Reserves.
